It's with great pride and pleasure that we welcome you to 2012's 5TH Annual NBL THE BAY NATIONALS!!! Be sure to mark your calendars for FEB. 18th in the beautiful city of Vallejo California, hosted at Vallejo High School Gymnasium. This is our 5th tournament that Seronio's IslandBred Martial Arts has hosted in five years. This is our 3rd year as a National Blackbelt League (Regional) in honor of Shannon Apple at Vallejo High School, Vallejo California. It will be a day of fun, excitement and World Class Competition in honor of Shannon.
 
We'd like to dedicate this NBL Regional to our great friend, brother, uncle, son and martial artist Shannon Apple.

It’s been a tough 2011 year competing at all of our local and National events without hearing his voice. Super Grands will never be the same without him. Since, he loved to yell and be the center of attention when running his rings at National Events…I’d thought it would be nice for him to hear all of us giving and yelling his name at an event that would bring everyone together. 

The Bay Nationals is a National Blackbelt League - GoldenGate Regional Conference (NBL 14PTS) and a AAA 21pts SKIL. Seronio's IslandBred Martial Arts is confident that all of our newcomers and supporters alike will have the warm Aloha experience that Seronio's IslandBred Martial Arts is known for hosting. This is the 1stt NBL Regional in the Bay Area for the Goldengate Conference.

We all believe that with great competiton builds great character within. At the Apple Open you will certainly be amongst the Best that that the Bay Area has to offer in which you will grow as a Martial Artist.
 
I truly believe that as a Martial Artist, it's not how much you know or your rank, but how many people you give to in a positive way. For us, Shannon is still alive, he's touched my family and school in such a positive and energetic way. He's always brought smiles and laughter to every Martial Arts Event, Holidays, Promotions and Family Gatherings. But most of all, he completed our Martial Arts family and continues to bring all of us closer....We miss you cuz - Rest in Paradise!!!!!!
